  3. It’s the New Year and we just want to say a big thanks to all our new fans over the past few months for their love and support… here’s a free download for you, it’s a track that didn’t make the album. It’s a nod to Neil Armstrong (though we wrote it before his death, weirdly), a story of what might have been – based around an actual, undelivered speech of the President in case Apollo 11 never made it back to earth… We call it ‘Slight Return’.

  7. Counterfactual no. 1 is a new song/piece by London based electronic duo, The Eyes in The Heat, that uses the words of an undelivered Presidential speech from 1969 — written in case the Apollo 11 moon landing ended in tragedy, the astronauts unable to return to Earth. An homage to what-might-have-been, Counterfactual no.1 returns us to a vanished moment with the world anxiously awaiting the space missions final resolution. In the accompanying video by Zizi, NASA footage is manipulated to suggest the chimeral dreams of humanity, the mesmerizing patterns of history — unpicking the epic course of events to arrive at a new beginning.
